Frequently asked questions about Dental resins

Why 3D Printing Technology?

3D printing is replacing milling because it is an additive technology, not subtractive — and that changes everything.

With milling, you start with a block and cut away material. With 3D printing, you build the restoration layer by layer with precision and zero waste. The result? Lower cost, higher efficiency, and access to a wide range of products from the same printer. Additionally, you can do batch prints all in the same time not as milling you should do it one by one.

What about the running cost?

With 3D printing? You only replace simple consumables like the vat film, and that’s it. No technicians. No downtime. No hidden costs. So your operational expenses stay consistently low and predictable. We provide you full technical support and spare parts.

Is it evidence based for dental restorations?

Yes, we have now research up to 4 years following up using permanent resin for partial coverages and single unit crowns. And chewing simulation up to 10 years. It is a biocompatible material with up to 50% nano-ceramic silica fillers and zirconia fillers making it strong and durable material. The enhanced color stability and wear resistance made it perfect fit for permanent dental restorations.

Do i need different printer for every product?

No, you just invest in one printer and it can print permanent restorations, temporary restorations, night guards, surgical guides, denture bases and models.

Do i need special laptop to operate the printer?

No, most of the printers operating systems need a standard laptop with no special specifications.

Do i need special material for bonding the restorations?

No, its very similar to bonding Emax, moreover its bond strength is way better than Emax because you are bonding resin with resin so it forms a mono-block with tooth structure.

Do you have training and technical support?

Yes, we have a complete on-boarding system to train dentists to start working with 3D printing technology. Also we have a technical support team to help you all through the 3D printing journey.
